Your electric rim lock
Yale Unica is the solution designed to meet the needs of any environment and any installation.
It is available in two variants:
- For pedestrian gates, with a fixed cylinder
- For wooden doors, with a rim cylinder
The anthracite and silver finishes, combined with the sleek and elegant design, blend seamlessly with any design requirement.
The essence of Yale Unica
Designed to adapt. Always.
The lock is fully reversible and can be configured for either right- or left-handed use. The reversible latch allows for either pull or push operation.
Three operating modes, one product
It can be configured as a key-only, key-and-button, or button-only version, giving the user or installer the freedom to choose the most suitable solution.
Adjustable backset
Thanks to the adjustable backset (40–80 mm), the lock can be installed on pedestrian gates and wooden doors with an existing cylinder hole, avoiding invasive modifications.
Operates on AC and DC
Yale Unica is designed to operate on both alternating and direct current, ensuring maximum compatibility with all the most common systems.
Hassle-free retrofitting
Yale Unica is designed to be fitted using the same mounting holes as the leading electric locks already on the market. No new holes, no additional work.
The silence that makes the difference
The Yale Unica strike plate is fitted with a high-strength plastic slide that makes closing smoother and quieter, reducing friction.
Seamless installation
Yale Unica is designed to simplify every aspect of the process and ensure a smooth, efficient installation. It takes just a few simple steps to adapt the lock to any type of door or gate.
Yale Unica is smart-ready
Yale Unica is designed for integration with Yale Smart Security Ecosystem.
When paired with the Smart Openers for Gate and Garage Doors, the Smart Keypad and the Smart Keypad 2 - Fingerprint, it can be controlled via the Yale Home app and personalised PIN codes, offering an advanced, secure and intuitive access experience.
